Ahilyanagar
Felt, before it is seen.
Why Aura 6
03 / 03
Drawn before it was built. Every line decided at the drawing stage — the façade, the plan, the light — with nothing added afterwards to make up for what was missed.
Six residences, one on every floor. No shared walls, no upstairs footsteps, no neighbour's balcony over yours. The lift opens into your own lobby.
Akash Constructions has been building in Ahilyanagar for over two decades. This is the one they were building toward.
The idea
There is a quality certain places have that never appears on a drawing — the light falling softer, the air standing still, the sense that the space answers to no one but you. There has always been a word for it.
Aura 6 is six residences in Ahilyanagar, built around that word. One to a floor. Nothing shared but the address.
One floor · One residence
No shared walls. No upstairs footsteps. Six residences, and six keys.
The building
Travertine, timber and deep-set balconies, composed so the façade reads as one gesture rather than six repeated ones. Every line was decided at the drawing stage — none of it added later.
The whole floor
A single residence occupying the entire floor plate — 2250 sq.ft. of carpet, four bedrooms, two walk-in wardrobes, a devghar and three balconies.
Living & dining
Twenty-seven feet of living, opening onto a balcony that runs twenty-five more. Room enough for a full house — and quiet enough, after they leave, to hear the evening settle.
The private wing
A master bedroom of seventeen by fourteen with its own walk-in wardrobe and bath, set away from the living side of the plan. Four bedrooms in all, each with an attached toilet.
Kitchen & utility
Thirteen by fifteen, with a quartz otta, a dry balcony beside it and a store behind — a kitchen that doesn't ask anyone to wait outside.
Room by room
The full width of the floor plate, opening to the long balcony through a French door.
15'0" × 27'0"
With an 8'5" × 6'0" walk-in wardrobe, attached toilet and a balcony of its own.
17'0" × 14'0"
Bare shell with quartz otta, dado to ceiling, dry balcony and store adjoining.
13'0" × 15'0"
Set between the kitchen and the evening light. Some rooms are designed; this one gathers.
13'0" × 10'5"
Running the length of the living room, with a second off the master and a dry balcony behind.
5'6" × 25'0" + 17'6" × 5'0"
Placed off the living room, away from the bedrooms, with its own quiet.
4'7" × 5'0"
